Apple has in the past month trying to control the quality of Apps coming into the App Store. The latest now is that they have started to remove the program that allows one to see the wireless network easier.
According to the company Three Jacks Software, Apple took away the program WiFi-Where to use the code to access private framework that could not be used. But it was not just WiFi-Where as they took away, even WifiTrak, WiFiFoFum, yFy Network Finder, WiFi Get, eWifi, and WiFi Analyzer whose tasks was to detect wireless networks. Nothing against Apple's rules.
Nick Bonatsakis also got slammed by the big apple. When he filed his application Duck Phone for approval, he received the following reply after a few days: "We've-reviewed your application Duck Phone and We Have Determined That this application contains minimal user functionality and will not be Appropriate for the App Store."
Is this a sign that Apple has had enough with the garbage in the App Store? Will we finally be able to find useful applications easily and most important question of all. Should even the developers behind popular applications such as iFart beware?
