In 2014 Sunrise Women take part in Residence Maties MAD2 with the men of Helshoogte. Maties MAD2 (Making A Decision to Make A Difference) is a new initiative equivalent to RAG / RAG, but with a greater focus on community interaction. All funds raised by students during MAD2 going to Maties Community Service (MCS) for projects related to community engagement in and around Stellenbosch. The fundraiser includes a tour MAD2, Windows, a "Colour Run" and a text project.
The overall theme for 2014 is Maties MAD2 "InstaMoment - color your world." Sunrise and Helshoogte's theme, Derived from the overall theme is "Flashback".
