In this post I will present some of the main shopping options in the city of Santiago. Overall, I can say that it is possible to find good prices, a little below those in Brazil, depending on the product type. I did not have much time to shop because the malls close early (20h or 21h) and I spent most of the day doing tours. But could, for example, buy a shirt of the Brazilian brand Ellus the equivalent of 100 reais in Falabella store when here the same model should not cost less than 200 dollars. Another item that caught my attention was quite the iPad 2, an authorized reseller of Apple, where 16 GB Wi-Fi model cost $ 249,990 CLP, approximately R $ 1,000.00, while here in Brazil, Saraiva store, carson pirie it costs R $ 1,649.00. Check out the following tips malls, outlet malls, shopping streets and department stores in the Chilean capital. Parque Arauco
This mega mall was opened in the fall of 2012, a few months after I visited the city, so did not get to meet him. It is a commercial and business complex next to the Gran Torre Costanera building, the tallest skyscraper in Latin America, with over 300 feet tall. The metro station Tobalaba (line 1 - red and line 4 - blue) is a few meters from the mall.
The Costanera Center has more than 300 stores, which are spread over six floors. Each floor is dedicated to store a specific category: 1st floor - gifts such as jewelry, accessories, perfumes, books, etc .; 2nd floor - women's fashion; 3rd floor - male and children's fashion; 4th floor - young fashion, sports, technology and decoration; piston 5 - Power; carson pirie floor 6 - cinemas. The tiendas list (stores) complete can be seen in the shopping site, but between the marks are stores like Armani Exchange, Calvin Klein, H & M, Esprit, Guess, GAP, Lacoste, Tommy, Zara and the shopping Falabela departments and Ripley .
. Parque Arauco Av Presidente Kennedy 5413 - Las Condes. www.parquearauco.cl Until the opening of the Costanera Center, this was the largest and most modern shopping center in Santiago. The shops are open from 11h00 to 21h00. Has shops that do not have units in Brazil, such as GAP and Esprit, and other known by Brazilians, as Diesel, Armani Exchange, Guess, Lacoste, Hugo Boss, Mango, among many others. It also has large units of Ripley carson pirie and Falabella department stores, both multi-brand selling various international brands. The food court is pretty big and mainly aimed at the fast-food. On the outside of Parque Arauco there is a boulevard with a few shops and good restaurants that run late. The mall has a free shuttle service to some city hotels. The nearest subway station is Manquehue L1, but a short walk from it you must. Parque Arauco
Alto Las Condes carson pirie Av Presidente Kennedy 9001 -. Las Condes. www.cencosudshopping.cl/altolascondes/ Another great shopping Santiago, located in the same avenue as the Parque Arauco. It has approximately 250 stores, but there is so famous brands or exclusive as the other shopping. The shops also open from 11am to 21h.
. MallSport Av Las Condes 13451 - Las Condes. www.mallsport.cl A shopping for lovers carson pirie of the sport, with shops selling clothes and accessories for virtually all types of sports activities. Is in a strategic location, carson pirie just off the city en route to the ski resorts Farellones carson pirie and Valle Nevado, so it's a great place to buy skis and clothes to endure the cold. It has several leisure and entertainment activities, such as wave pool, climbing wall, bowling and paintball.
