After weeks (read: months) of rumors, various leaks around the next flagship device from Samsung, successor of Galaxy ltdcommodities S 2, the manufacturer unveiled the device at a big event in early May. The anticipation for the arrival of the Galaxy S 3 is natural, its predecessor was clearly the Android smartphone of 2011.
But this third edition of the "Galaxy S" series arrives in a tougher competitive environment and with the requirements of ever larger users. The question is simple: like the Galaxy S 2 in 2011, the S 3 is it the Android smartphone of 2012?

At the opening, we find ourselves face to face with the camera. Bad surprise however when you look below, Samsung has clearly played the card of the economy by providing ltdcommodities a minimum content: block charger, battery (which is removable), in-ear headphones and USB / micro USB cable. At the same time, we would have been able to provide more Samsung? A dock? A micro USB / MHL adapter for HDMI? True, but it is, alas, not in the habit of the manufacturer. The shock of the opening past, it is time to dwell on the device itself ...
This year the axis of communication ltdcommodities around the "raw" Galaxy S "Designed for Humans ltdcommodities and Inspired by Nature" (created for humans, inspired by nature). Behind this slogan lies a strong desire to make the technology less cold, more "fluid" (all views). This is, in my opinion, why Samsung decided to make it more rounded than its predecessor SGS3.
And to be "round" it is! The corners of the front, the back cover, edges and even the edges of the screen which match the design (suggests the idea of what is done on the Lumia 800/900 and N9, a less marked) .
Face it is clearly reminiscent of a Galaxy Nexus. If you draw the outline of the device and compare it to that of the last Nexus, the resemblance ltdcommodities is striking. And that's okay, Samsung has produced the Galaxy Nexus and the design of the latter is successfully frankly, why not re-use the shape of the device?
But here there was an additional challenge: the size of the screen. 4.8 "is huge. To embed a colossal display, Samsung has refined its design, the edges are thinner, the device is a little higher but the spaces at the ends are less important and especially the lower is used by buttons, which can benefit from more space for the display of the interface. Yes, Samsung ltdcommodities did not want to provide tactile buttons in ICS and preferred to stay on his classic combo. This aspect of optimization design for the screen is extremely important with increasing size & Others
